HR Solutions Manager, Operations & IT
Accountabilities
- Lead, coach and develop Senior and Solutions Partners supporting Operations and IT, raising capability in organisational change execution, workforce planning, employee relations judgement, and digital ways of working. Build a culture of accountability, pace and delivery excellence.
- Build trusted relationships with HRVPs, HRBPs, business leaders, HR Services and CoEs, providing insight-led guidance that influences decisions at a senior level and helps shape the broader HR agenda.
- Use deep business intimacy to shape team focus, resource deployment and sequencing of HR activity, synthesising insights, themes and risks to inform HRBP decision-making and ensure work directly supports business outcomes.
- Oversee and quality‑assure organisational change and workforce initiatives, including restructures, capability shifts and role redesign. Co‑design and lead SET‑level change that strengthens operational effectiveness and technology delivery.
- Champion AI-enabled insights, digital tools, workflow automation and modernised ways of working; identify simplification opportunities and redesign processes to increase efficiency, reduce manual effort and enhance the HR Solutions operating model, partnering closely with HR Services on end-to-end improvements.
- Embed and evolve the HR Solutions operating model to work effectively, reinforcing effective working and hand‑offs across HRBPs, Solutions, HR Services and CoEs to ensure reliable, end‑to‑end delivery.
- Oversee the generation and use of workforce insights, ensuring data is practical, action‑oriented and supports decisions on talent deployment, productivity, succession and transformation impact in Operations and IT.
- Partner with the Global HR Solutions Director to shape strategy, capability and transformation priorities, piloting new tools and approaches that improve how HR supports operational excellence and technology‑enabled change.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Proven leadership of HR teams across multiple geographies and/or SET areas.
- Strong coaching capability; able to develop talent and uplift capability.
- Advanced stakeholder-management and influencing skills.
- Strong commercial and organisational understanding of multiple SET areas and their workforce needs.
- Ability to interpret business strategy and translate into HR delivery requirements.
- Broad HR expertise with differentiated knowledge in one or more subject areas.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and digital fluency.
- Expertise in major HR processes (talent, PD/RPD, SWP, reward, organisation change).
- Experience of leading business change or organisation effectiveness initiatives.
- High personal resilience and the ability to lead through ambiguity and transformation.
- Experience interpreting AI-generated insights or leading digital process transformations.
- Experience working in global or highly matrixed organisations
- Knowledge of SET-specific business strategy and workforce dynamics
